"I stayed for two nights when booked on the Jacobite Train. One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. I was on my own so stayed in the single room - small but very comfortable and very quiet. The choice for the inclusive breakfast was huge and delicious - it set me up for the day. The view from the dining room is spectacular, especially from the table they gave me, which one member of staff told me was the "naughty corner". Carmen, Phil and the staff were great, friendly, full of helpful information and fun to talk to. Long conversations about cars, career changes and life in general over a pint - the local craft IPA is really good by the way. Make sure you try it.
The same goes for Guisachan Guesthouse. You must try it."
"Upon arrival nicely greeted and checked in.Excellent Staff they deserve a pay rise. The room was nicely prepared and presented, great housekeeping staff. Barman was excellent at his job .The dining room staff were also extremely helpful and professional. The hotel needs a little Investment into itsome aspects are tired upgrade doors and locks to a card system would be good. Breakfast is superb highly recommend it.
A very enjoyable few days in a beautiful setting.
Thank You"
"Very nice rooms and service was phenominal. It was warm westher wise and the heat was in in the comnon rooms and hallways. So it was very warm inside the castle and in our rooms, that was really my biggest complaint."
"The glamping pods were beautiful and decently sized. The comunal toilet and shower area was kept clean and tidy. Over all it was a lovely experience. Only concern was that my 4 year old had to be restrained at all times either inside the pod, in pushchairs or in reigns as the edge of the land at entry to our pod was a steep slope, ideally this could be fenced off. When we first arrived, as a family, i mentioned to my mum that this place would be a lovely romantic getaway for a weekend however lacks any disabled access, would be nice to one day come back and see a wheelchair accessible pod if that was workable with the area.
Was a lovely experience for our first time glamping. "
"The apartment was really good. We were able to walk to the train station for the Jacobite Steam Train. We were surprised and delighted to find a clothes washing machine and we were able to get some much needed laundry done. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery.
A very enjoyable stay. "
