Have stayed here a few times as both our boys are at Durham Uni. Lovely but expensive (for us) hotel, usually use Tesco vouchers to keep cost down. Stayed one night during Lumiere. Radisson BLU Hotel Durham
Room and bathroom spotless. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet. Nice enough view onto trees behind car park. Staff courteous and efficient.

Redworth Hall Hotel
Had a lovely spa treatment which I would recommend. Bedrooms are nicely decorated. Some parts of hotel could do with a little TLC but overall a good stay in nice grounds.
