"The front desk clerk was friendly and personable! She went out of her way to accommodate all my requests! The room was clean and smelled good! The hotel was a little older but repairs had been made. Parking was a breeze and the heat was wonderful on a cold, snowy night! Hot water was also pleasing, I’ve been to several hotels in the past that it was always a problem early in the morning and I was so happy when I turned it on, each time I had wonderful hot water. The breakfast was good and the orange juice was real,the coffee was very good and hot! The only negative comment I can make is that the mattress on the bed was a little too hard for my liking, but I was so comfy that that didn’t bother me! All together, I had a great experience and I will always stay there when I’m in town. Thank you Baymont!’"

"The rooms are very well designed I assume from the day they were built as the architects drawings are in the hallway showing the exact layout from the 1930s. The Speakeasy downstairs was very cozy and felt like an early 20th century Inn should feel like. I have lived in Bucks County PA, stayed at those Inns and the only big difference was the plumbing at the Mimlyn Inn was modern. You will have a grand time here with a large group or a couple friends visiting Luray and the Shenandoah region."

"We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. The current administration should invest funds in the National Parks, rather than divesting from them, and rather than spending untold, mismanaged, hundreds of millions on ballrooms and personal jets. This historied encampment deserves to be kept up in a more intentional way for our children and grandchildren. Can you imagine what Skyland would look like if just a handful of millions going toward a gilded jet were spent on the deep cleaning and deferred maintenance it requires? "
