"Stayed here many times over the years. Great location, character building, friendly staff, superb breakfast, easy parking. Tempered on this particular occasion by ineffective room air conditioning and a dog basket & dirty glasses to greet us outside the room on arrival. Hopefully these points will get sorted soon."

"Our accommodation was perfect for our short stay. No lifts so be prepared to carry your own luggage up stairs. The staff were so helpful and friendly, also note that there is no staff on the premises over night . Our meals were delicious. Nice quiet spot to stop over during our visit."

"The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate."

"We returned from a very busy day at 10.30 to find that our room had not been serviced - we had not opted into the scheme whereby guests can forgo a clean and receive a voucher to be used in the bar. Miguel went out of his way to supply the required teas, coffees towels etc. Thank you for your help Miguel."
