Best staff ever, great food, lovely place. great location

Clean and comfortable room with useful amenities like in-room electric kettle and hair dryer. The Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff were consistently polite and accommodating. The young lady who checked us in was personable and exceptionally helpful, particularly in attempting to resolve problems connecting our phones, iPads and laptop to the hotel's WiFi. Clearly though, there was something wrong with the hotel's WiFi hub(s) as we have not experienced difficulty at any of the 6 other places we stayed in our travels through Scotland, or for that matter even on any of the ScotRail trains we rode, or open public WiFi routers. Even when we did get connected, download and upload speeds were exceedingly slow, suggesting some problem with the Inn's WiFi. I'm also not fond of Premier Inn's loose-sheet toilet paper, or the fact that the shower-in-tub was so slippery when wet that we didn't dare to shower for fear of falling. A non-slip shower mat, or perhaps adhesive no-slip stickers would be welcome. That said, our 1-night stay was still pleasurable on the whole given the efforts of the staff, cleanliness of the premises and comfort of our room.

Lovely B&B with great breakfast. Location is perfect for travelling to Edinburgh, Kelpies or Scottish Highlands. Highly recommend it.
