"Good stay for working people. "

"The hotel is superbly placed near the centre of the old town with its own walkway ( over the busy roads ) to the banks of the Rhine . We were very impressed by the grandeur of the interior and tge room was very spacious and comfortable . Unfortunately tge pool was extremely small ( more of a plunge pool ) not suited to providing me with my daily swimming exercise routine which required a length of 25m."

"The room was okay. Bed was the best part because it was comfortable. TV barely worked. Was almost impossible to use. Staff were okay as well. Not the most polite but at least somewhat helpful. Parking wasn’t ideal. I had to park somewhere else temporarily because I needed a code to get into the parking. Why not just have a ticket and validation system for guests. Breakfast was cheap (€13) but very basic. No sausages or anything warm. Coffee was tasty. "

"Pretty nice room, just a few blocks from a train station. Perfect for enjoying the Carnival, yet far enough away to get a good night’s sleep."

"The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The hotel was in a good location for public transport - we easily got a metro into central Koln. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we felt it was expensive but there was a great cafe a short walk away. "

"Overall, the hotel was good and I had a pleasant stay. I did not receive any VIP benefits such as a room upgrade or similar perks. As an Expedia Gold Member, I was expecting at least one VIP offer from the hotel, but no benefits were provided at all. The only thing I received was early check-in Additionally, the hotel did not provide slippers in the room. For a hotel of this quality, I consider this a significant downside, as even basic amenities like slippers are expected."

"Overall solid hotel. Great value and my room was small but enough for what I needed on this trip. Comfy, and clean room. Offers a breakfast but did not get a chance to do. Biggest drawback is if you are using this say as a cheap option to stay outside of Köln or Leverkusen it will take minimum 30 to get into the city, even with taxi. However if you are like me, patient and willing to use public transport very easy and around 40 min on average to get to the center! Staff was helpful in accomodating me with a late checkin but do call, was not as responsive to email. One small complaint the halls lighting was dark at all times it felt, could have been concidence since i was returning late each evening, but was literally hard to find room because of it as well as just an eerie feel. Also not complaint but heads up I don't believe I saw an elevator, no problem but just be aware."
