"Parking for our room was convenient and quick and the country style rooms were spotlessly clean and welcoming! The owners were very friendly and always really to help! My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay in our very comfortable and quiet room and would throughly recommended this stay!"

"Keith was a fantastic host. So accommodating and inviting. He showed us around the property and gave us great tips on where to go in the area as well as where to head when in Australia Zoo. The gardens and area surrounding the property was gorgeous. Our girls loved helping cook in the rail carriage kitchen and eat in the shared diner and outdoor seating area. The surrounding areas are great. Will totally recommend to anyone I know visiting the area."

"Nothing stands out. All good, no office person needs to call. But she let me check in early. Quite, which was good. Thought I was booking a big bed but I got a very small room with single bed. Just fans no air ac. On website didn’t say if you book for one, you booked for a very small room with single bed. Only cleaning lady here. Hums, she was sort of ok. Ok for one night."

"Montville was an adventure. If one has a mobility limitation, getting around on the steep main street can be quite challenging. This was also true of the Altitude on Montville, which is built on a steep slope. The room that is equipped for disabled access is beautiful. We'd have been very happy there, but it wasn't practical to use it because a power surge during a recent storm had killed the small lift that was needed to access the room. We were given an alternate room that worked very well for us, and we are grateful that the property manager was so anxious to ensure that we were accommodated. If you need to book the Accessible Room, phone the property to confirm that the lift is in working order. There is another work-around available, but it would be a spot of bother to use it and quite impractical for a solo traveler."
