Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The place was historic and super charming. The best part was Maureen the host, she gave us incredible recommendations for food and beaches, brought us fresh fruit every day, and let us eat from her Mulberry tree (best fruit we’ve ever eaten!). Great place to stay to access Freycinet, would definitely come back!

Gypsy Rose was great, quirky. Loved our stay; hosts friendly and chatty. Not far to Swansea for good meals. Also good facilities for self catering.
This was my favorite place I stayed on my trip. It is a beautiful spot. The owners were delightful and so sweet. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. If I could have stayed here for the duration of my trip I would have in a second. Highly recommend.
We stayed at the Belmont from Dec 19-21, as a base for us to explore the Coles Bay area and Freycinet National Park. The property came with 2 rooms, and big enough for a family of 4. Location was quiet and easily accessible to restaurants and also near to EV charging since we rented a Tesla. Cosy and clean, and our host John was warm, welcoming and very hospitable.
This is a treasure trove of accommodation that will amaze you, the best and most special building of all my travels. It has a history of 130 years and has a garden of 13,000m2. The rooms are large and well-equipped. Surrounded by century-old trees and various flowers and plants for you to enjoy, we experienced the life of a farmer for the first time here.If you have time, the owner will show you how to feed her merino sheep and hens, as well as her yard. The host was very welcoming and we tasted eggs from his own hens for the first time.
We stayed in Gypsy Rose which was lovely. A different experience but cozy and charming on a cold winter night.
Hosts were lovely and we would definitely stay here again.
I booked the stay for my parents, the Gypsy Rose was beautiful, welcoming and very clean. Owners were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Gardens are stunning would definitely recommend.
Gypsy Rose was very much a unique experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Maureen and Johns hospitality was second to none. A wonderful, relaxing setting.
Definitely pretty unique, as were the hosts, Maureen and John. We loved the place, Vincent van Goat and Nanny, the lovely chooks - everything. Facilities were very good, while M and J went out of their way to be warm and welcoming. We'll be back!
