Central location and very affordable.
Breakfast is not great and is the same everyday.
Hotel is abit outdated but comfortable and spacious rooms.
Thank you Shumon and Shuhag (sorry if name is wrong) for great service. Cleaned room and provided extra towels etc when needed.
Hotel itself is a little out dated but in the heart of syhlet city.
Good roof top restaurent.
Spacious room and very helpful staff. Booked 2 rooms (609 and 612 i think) Shumon and Shuhag were bery friendly and helpful when we needed something. Cleaned the room well.
Hotel is within good budget.

Enjoyable hotel with great service
We enjoyed our stay, although the hotel is a little rough around the edges. Some of the rooms had an awful chemical smell, the noise pollution from outside was 24/7. Staff are really helpful and friendly, service from hotel staff was excellent but the hotel restaurants were very slow. Location is great for shopping trips in Sylhet.

I enjoyed staying at the Hotel, Zakir was very attentive to my needs. The hotel is ideally located and has a very good standard. I would recommend it to others.
I was a little disappointed though with the gym out of service. I guess something like this can't always be avoided.
Overhyped place and they falsely advertise rooms on other websites. My experience was not so great. Staff was attentive to our needs however the rooms are not up to par. They advertise king bed for premium double rooms on their website and charge more for those than executive room. But when I checked in, I was told all their rooms have queen beds except for Grand suite room. One of my rooms had dirty stained carpets and no general amenities provided for some of our rooms.

Good for its location and friendly staff
Second time we’ve visited, sadly the hotel seems to have dropped in quality. For starters they messed up our booking, which we luckily noticed before arrival and mostly sorted out. 2 out of 4 rooms were booked for different dates and after sorting out only 3 out of 4 rooms were ready to use. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurants are as slow as ever, all orders take minimum 1 hours (minus the one time I set my phone timer and said I’m gonna take them up on the 30 mins they said it would take, it took 35 mins which is okay. We got a fright one night when they decided to smoke out the whole floor at 12:30am to kill mosquitos, we woke up choking on smoke. Some pre warning would have been good, as we thought the hotel was on fire. Overall quality and comfort isn’t great, I’d say it’s like a 2/3 star experience. The roof and pool are the highlights, but even they have lost their appeal somewhat.
We really liked our stay here and we were very well looked after. We had booked 3 rooms as a family and as it was during the protests/riots recently the hotel was practically empty so we got the pick of the rooms. Sanzina at reception really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff were very accommodating aswell especially the guy who cleaned my room as he made sure I had 3 towels everyday & just got me whatever I needed. I had the corner room which had two big windows which I liked (I am claustrophobic) so wouldn’t have wanted a room with no or small windows. Breakfast was generally good, I would however recommend more fruit and/or healthier foods ie wholemeal chapatti. Just a few minor points, there is a damp smell in some areas which the hotel is trying to sort out, but it is a hot humid country so probably difficult, maybe tiled flooring would be better. I would also recommend having creamer or milk in the rooms for tea/coffee, maybe change up the variety at breakfast a bit more as we were there for 10 nights and the brekkie got a bit boring albeit there was a good selection. Overall a great hotel, probably the best in the area and we all felt at home and the staff looked after us very well.
Communication before checking in was really poor. To date I have not been contacted about my query. We even tried to phone them but they didn’t pick up. (Including Hotel.com themselves)
During the stay it was not much better: we requested an additional bed/mattress (room was supposed to sleep 3) but only received this after asking twice and on the second day of our trip. We also requested for a bathrobe but this was only given to us on day 4 of our booking.
Staff were friendly so no issues there but they don’t seem to respond to queries unless you ask multiple times.
There seems to be a mild bed bug problem as 2/3 of us were bitten on legs and back. However I do have high praise for being mosquito free which is really hard in Bangladesh so well done!
Facilities were really nice, in and out of the room; however the WiFi was atrocious to the point where 3G did a better job hotspotting my laptop than the actual WiFi and I was unable to work; definitely an area of improvement for working travellers.
Food was really nice, loved the breakfast options!!
The pool and skyline view were exceptions in my opinion.
Can see that this hotel is on its way up to being really good but still improvements required.
Overall excellent experience and enjoyable stay. Facilities - from Room (upgrade) to ‘Antalya’ dining, coffee shop and leisure were extremely good.
Staff at all levels from MD to Reception, including Restaurant and Housekeeping were courteous, genuinely caring and professional.
Check in was smooth. There was a minor issue with the room which was resolved very quickly and efficiently. GRM Mr Rony Hasan was very helpful and there was no issue thereafter. The hotel could do with some renovation but the staff were always cleaning, friendly and willing to assist whenever we saw them. Catering manager Mr Noyon was brilliant in looking after us. Food at the breakfast and the Antalya restaurant was delicious in particular the Pad Thai! I would highly recommend a stay at Noorjahan.

the noor jahan is in a prime location and was close to everything we needed. the rooftop restaurant, pool and ambiance was fantastic! however the rooms are a little run down and our toilet stopped working in the middle of the night with no mechanic available to fix it. other than that issue, we really did enjoy our stay.
