Many shrines are also in the area and all are easy to walk to. Nipponia is an INCREDIBLE place to stay with every aspect exceeding my expectations. This was our second stay at Hotel Nikko Tachikawa Tokyo, and once again it was a wonderful experience. We enjoy the charm of Tachikawa — a smaller town with a relaxing atmosphere — which is why we chose to stay here instead of Shibuya or Shinjuku.
