Firstly they do not have a Hot Tub as advertised, this was a major reason for booking this motel. In my room neither the TV or Alarm clock worked properly.

For the price that we paid, the room was very outdated and did not match the photos on the website. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly, there were stains on the carpet, cracks in the walls, the coffee table was falling apart and the wood on the cupboards was peeling. We were very disappointed.

The room is old, in good condition but feels old. The bathrooms are old. They need renovation. The restaurant is overpriced for its quality. Continental breakfast is minimal

The place is very old and is run down in areas. The staff do the best they can under the circumstances I guess. There was black mould in our bathroom in a few areas, plus cracks in the walls. I can say that in real life the place looks nothing like it does in the online photos. It wasn’t priced accordingly either, and to be honest I regret booking there.

It is a very tired property. Bathroom had a dead moth on the floor, a cockroach visited (won't be back), and there was a horrible drain smell in the bathroom and outside.

absolutely best western
my stay was great room was beautiful very clean, the pool was absolutely wonderful and staff very nice and friendly i will most definately stay here again and do recommend best western sanctuary inn at tamworth i had no problems and enjoyed my stay fully thankyou

Convenient, quiet and easy walk to shops, eateries, etc. Room was clean and bed comfortable although pictures on website room seemed bigger. Included free Continental breakfast. Bang for buck? Didn't feel like it. Overall, just stayed a night, would I stay here again? Probably not.

very comfortable bed and well designed room. Spa bath a great unexpected extra. However houskeeping needs to improve bathroom cleaning (dirt in corners, mildrew) and management needs to replace airconditioners - too noisy to want to use, but too hot to not use. Also no way of getting fresh air into the room so the smell of disinfectant cleaning products was overwhelming

I liked the friendly staff & the convenient location. The decor & ammenities in the room were tired & in need of a revamp. The shower rail in our ensuite kept falling off the wall & the tv could only receive limited free to air channels.

Stayed one night on a recent business trip. Adequate for an overnight stay but the furniture, bed included could be in better condition. The cleanliness of the bathroom could also be a little better. All in all a good night's sleep

Standard room not overly large. Have to scroll through a lot of TV channels as many don't work but a large selection. Could do with better lighting over table. On the positive side: very clean, no noise from adjacent units, friendly staff. Will stay there again in a couple of weeks.

Dont judge till you try
We had a wonderful stay. I was worried when I first got here but found everything to be clean and on point. We will definitely stay here again. The restaurant was a real winner. We were here for two nights and enjoyed dinner both nights. Staff were obliging and really friendly.

Noise from truck air brakes all night and morning from room 2. King bed was actually two bed mattresses pushed together meaning you couldn’t lie in middle. Book the double and single bed. No water pressure in morning and only warm water no cold had to be applied.

Front door hard to close because stuck on carpet room 42. AC did a auto clean at some stage and sprayed stuff all over the bed and floor. Continental breakfast was very basic and mis-leading. Floors creeky in the room and where we had breakfast floors were terribly creeky. Bed was comfy, staff were friendly. Great location.

Room was very small, they have tried to squeeze too much in. Had problems with the coffee machine not working & complementary pods not in the room. Room was very noisy.

Room was ok/basic, not as nice as the photos looked. As others have mentioned, the carpets old/grubby looking, but overall was ok, quiet at night for good nights sleep, and beds comfy, with good “block out” curtains. Continental breakfast was just pre-packed cereals, toasts/banana bread, yoghurt and juices. Any proper coffee and hot foods are extra.

In desperate need of an upgrade
This Motel is very disappointing, the bathroom is VERY outdated and basic. The general state of the buildings requires a substantial upgrade. Wifi is poor and Reception Staff dismissive. Upgrade of a Headboard of the Bed should be extended to including an upgrade of the entire room. The room was quiet and bed comfortable.

Internet doesn’t work. TV stations doesn’t work. Spa doesn’t work. Bath wasn’t clean. Room needs an upgrade - new tiles and cupboard. It would not be hard for them to sweep in front of the rooms at the front porch.
