"We stayed at Merdaka for 7 nights and the stay was alright. The first 2 nights was given the road facing room and the windows were not sound proof. Complained about it and the staff was accommodating and changed my room. The hotel is a very old one and not very well maintained. The sheets had stains and bathrooms were old and moldy. The only positive is the staff there are very helpful and polite."

There was some construction going on that we only barely heard once for about 10 minutes. Bonus: my family of three where two of us have wheelchair needs, we found the food court, spa services and convenience store on the property to be very comfortable and convenient.
