Very nice room, excellent en-suite. It is a B&B, breakfast in cafe next door. Do not expect staff and service you might find in a hotel, provided you understand this it is a truly excellent place to stay

Sonia who worked the property was wonderful. She recommended places to visit. We met her out and about in town and she helped us with bus schedules. Very fun to speak with at breakfast. Although us being American and her speaking mainly Italian was fun but we both worked at it.

Communication in regards to parking and transportation around city was nonexistent. Parking was a challenge, tram was not operating, no maps were available and signing in city was poor. It was very loud and noisy around B&B.

Nice location.

We never saw anyone with the hotel, except for a lovely woman who prepared breakfast, but was unable to give us the password for the Internet, or answer any questions. When we attempted to check in at 16:00 we were told we could leave our bag, but would not be able to check in for another hour no reason. At 1700 they answered the buzzer to let us come in, but no one around. We’re unable to get an Internet password, or ask any questions. The only person we ever saw was the breakfast woman who took our tax money and copied our passports but otherwise we were on our own.

15時頃ホテル前到着。無人だったので、インターフォンで話をすると、私の予約は入っていないと言われました。 電話やＳＭＳでもやり取りし、何とかチェックイン出来ましたが、イタリア語も英語も分からない人だとかなり厳しいのではないかと感じました。 翌朝、朝食会場が分からず、お隣のお部屋の方共々、迷ってしまいました。 お隣の方がメールで問合せ、最終的に電話をしてくださって、一つ上の階の一番奥だという事が分かりましたが、部屋に案内があれば良かった。 また、部屋のエアコンが全く作動しなかったので、とても寒く、朝食会場にいた女性と、夕方他のお客様を案内してきた女性に確認をお願いしましたが、結局、暖房が作動する事は無く、夜は底冷えしてとても寒い思いをしました。クローゼットから布団を出して使いました。 お部屋は綺麗だし、Wi-Fiも強くて良かったが、とにかく無人の事が多く、対応に苦労した。

Struttura molto centrale e molto curata. Camera piccola ma da 4 stelle, con arredi dì gusto e materiali curati. Bagno nuovo. Tutto pulitissimo. Accoglienza gentile e professionale. Colazione con qualche accortezza causa Covid, buona e varia, dolce e salato. Da segnalare la ripida scalinata per arrampicarsi in camera, una cinquantina dì scalini che ti fa ringraziare dì essere in forma… Auto da lasciare al parcheggio Lumbi, 14€ al giorno, la città è pedonale.

Great spot in the heart of Taormina

Joan's Heritage is a wonderful B&B in the heart of Taormina. For anyone planning a trip to Taormina I highly recommend this place. The only two slightly negative surprises are 1. there is no parking anywhere near the B&B. You need to go to one of the only two big parking garages quite a distance away and then either bus or skylift your way in town. 2. The room was a bit smaller than the pictures make it seem--but that is typical for how deceptive pictures can be. Otherwise it is the perfect stay for a couple trying to explore Taormina.

Incredibly good value little treasure.

This is an incredibly good value little treasure hiding in a prime position in Taormina. Host Angelo was fabulous, breakfast was very generous (and far better than anything we could find down the street), rooms were lovely, everything very clean. Loved the little Juliet balcony overlooking the street and the double glazed windows meant it was quiet inside. Aircon was great. Ideal position on Corso Umberto and near funicular and Greek Theatre. No complaints at all.
