"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. 8/10 Good

"1 bed appt, perfect for my needs. Only quibble was sofa. Nice balcony over looking courtyard. Spa facility (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) was great, very clean and well run. Its a shame the restaurant wasn't running but as I had an appt with a kitchen it wasn't really a problem. Small shop on site open for 2 hrs each evening, and a temporary bar above the spa. Its a bit in the sticks but only 20 mins drive from Bideford. All the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great stay at St Mellion. Staff were friendly and helpful, spa was lovely and relaxing and not too busy. Great facilities, had a look in the gym but didn’t bring gym clothes unfortunately, as it looked really well equipped. We had dinner in the Brasserie, starters were not the best but main course was really good. Room was slightly dated but very well kept and bed super comfortable. We had a balcony looking onto the course which my partner appreciated. Stayed for our anniversary and had a bottle of prosecco and card in the room which was a really nice touch. Really good breakfast and easy checkout. Would stay again."
