Overall, I had a good stay at Monaco Hotel, although the main downside was a recurring issue with small cockroaches, especially in the bathroom. Aside from that, the hotel offers good value, with friendly staff, a convenient location, and included breakfast.
I started noticing one or two small cockroaches almost every day, usually around the sink, vanity mirror, floor, or toilet seat. I informed the front desk on my second night and was told housekeeping would be notified. On my third day, I also left a note for housekeeping, but the issue continued and remained until my last night. It wasn't a severe infestation, but seeing them regularly was unpleasant, and I hope management addresses it more effectively.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was simple and did not offer a wide selection, but considering the room rate, I still appreciated that it was included.
The room was otherwise comfortable, and the overall stay was pleasant. I would still consider staying here again, especially because of the staff, convenience, and value, but I hope the pest-control issue is taken seriously.
