Cameley Lakes. There are three lakes in total, all fed by springs that run down from the Mendip Hills. The lakes were constructed in the 1970s so are a recent addition to the landscape. They are privately owned and stocked with fish for anglers.

Having an area in the hotel to relax around the pool was lovely. Although you will need to book time to use it. Shops were all very close and just 15 min walk to the station Great bar across the road with line music on Saturday night

The Lakeside walk in the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa University is my favourite place to go between lectures. The natural beauty of this campus is one of the reasons I chose to apply to this university. I still find it crazy how quickly I can feel immersed in the great outdoors, whilst still being close to the university buildings. Filled with swans, ducks, herons and a 15th century tower across the lake, there is plenty to sit back and appreciate. #Trovember Photo Contest
