"A Tuscan Gem with Unmatched Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service. Our rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We also had a fantastic dinner at the resort. The food was absolutely delicious and a true highlight of our visit. While there was some construction taking place during our stay, it truly didn't take away from the natural beauty of the grounds. The resort is situated in the perfect location for visiting Tuscany’s most scenic spots, and the nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa is such a quaint, lovely place to walk around. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming base in the heart of Chianti! "

"Below expectations for the price – nice location but disappointing experience We stayed for three nights in early April as a couple. During the same trip, we stayed in other agriturismos in a similar price range, and this one unfortunately did not compare well in terms of value and overall experience. The location near San Gimignano is very nice, with pleasant countryside views. However, the service and overall guest experience felt quite limited. Key issues: • Breakfast (€20 pp): limited and inconsistent selection (e.g. stale croissants, very basic fruit unless requested, no plain yogurt, eggs gone cold) • Short breakfast window (until 10:00), creating a rush with slow replenishment • Staff appeared very stretched, resulting in a lack of welcome and a tense atmosphere • Accommodation: annex building requires driving to the main property for meals; not very convenient • Kitchen available but guests asked not to use it • Dinner: fixed menu with no choice; food was good but simple; service felt canteen-like and not particularly atmospheric • Other points: • Pool remained covered despite warm weather • No takeaway breakfast offered for early departure (despite we paid for it) • Complimentary wine (Expedia Gold benefit) only offered at check-out, hence not able to enjoy it) Positives: • Nice setting and views • Comfortable bed • Good house wine Overall: While the property itself is pleasant, it felt more like the hotel prioritise their convenience. "What a beautiful location and building! Delicious restaurant and patio onsite. They have very helpful and accommodating staff. The room was quite spacious. Our only complaint would be the terrible mattress- we could feel the springs of the mattress, so we did not sleep so well. Thankfully, it was only one night. Otherwise, we recommend this hotel."

"Advertised as a stay in castle, given an apartment outside the castle at the car park! Last night of stay and the next morning No hot water! No cleaning for 7 days, no change of the sheets or towels. Tree cutting at 8am. Apartment smells like damp. Cleaners while cleaning other apartments talking loudly like they were arguing. The outside look it is amazing, beautiful scenery!"

"Wonderful staff here. Simona! Natalia! Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Lovely area. It is remote but remote can be a wonderful thing. Only suggestion is the shower leaks because the shower door is not sealed. So a rethink there. But otherwise fabulous and highly recommended. "

"This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet dinner that was available on our first night that included delicious food and wines. We also took advantage of the daily breakfast since the location is somewhat remote. Alternatively, one could easily prepare their own breakfast in the apartment kitchen but we opted for the convenience. Although remote the property is conveniently located in the countryside about midway between Florence and Siena which were the two cities we planned to visit during our stay. There is a pool on the property and we did also enjoy a stroll into the vineyards one evening to watch the sunset. The reason for the lower rating with facilities is primarily around some plumbing inconvenience which was not confined to just our unit but was being appropriately addressed by the property and we did not experience any issues on our last couple of days. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay there again if I return to Tuscany."

"The property and our room was beautiful and very clean. The pool area was nice to swim in and relax. The laundry service was too expensive at 8 euros per wash. We were grateful to have a washer to save time and be able to hang our clothes outside to dry, but the price seemed like a lot since the machine was small. There werent any activities or wine tours mentioned, "
