"In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. "Great relaxing place. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! I wish I could bring it home!! Menu was a bit basic as well aa breakfast. They need to ensure breakfast stays warm. Other than that, excellent hotel. They would benefit from increasing their shuttle service given there is nothing around the hotel area."

"My second stay at the Meruorah, and just as good as the first. I had a sea view room this time, it’s well worth the upgrade, the view is beautiful although the boats can get a little noisy. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, the staff are very friendly and the included buffet breakfast caters for everyone, so much to choose from. I would definitely recommend staying here, I hope I will return again some day."

"Great stay before and after our Komodo boat tour. Close to airport and hotel shuttle made it easy to get to hotel and back. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and adjoining restaurant breakfast was great - even offering a takeaway for our early morning departure. Only one odd thing to note, first room we were in had kettle and coffee/tea. Second room, no kettle and we were told they don't provide it. Just a little weird."
