Rude and we felt racially profiled
Was charged 100$ deposit for some bed sheets that they found in a drawer and they were ripped and we never even knew they were there to begin with and when I confronted her over the phone she said that one of our guys was drunk which is a lie because we are there for work. We felt like the lady at the front desk had a racial issue with us because we are hispanic especially because she was being rude ever since we checked in and she made a ugly face at my guys.

Keep driving
Room was extremely run down, we only had two towels not much bigger then a hand towels. The mattress was hard and not comfortable. We got up after only 5 hours and left.

Changed hotel name to boutique hotels, made a $100 damage deposit mandatory for debit or credit or cash. Desk agent hand wrote on a paper list secure credit info, for the transition to the new owner. Said release for deposit takes multiple days, credit or debit. Odd for a branded hotel, awkward for a transition in ownership. But pleasant desk agent. For an aged hotel building with several system deficiencies, many for building (parking entry, pool area…) keycard access locks inoperative locations and one fire protection equipment several years out of inspection date, with missing stairway fire hose at least one location. Whoops. Ramada by Wyndham… and booked good rate through Hotels.com. Did as special rates is intended, got me here as opposed to similar remote rate deals for a couple of the other about 10 hotels on this major for the area intersection, most hotel parking lots showing mostly empty as the ice storm tonight is both East and West by about a highway hour. But seeming clean and sanitary. Relatively quiet.

The hotel is under construction. New owners have taken over. It has potential. I do not feel it should be open during this time. That being said, the staff is doing all they can with what they have. The rooms were clean, the pool was a little gross. We did not use it. Hot tub is not being filled due to Covid. The price was cheap, we did not expect much. Would actually like to see the progress in the future.

Very disappointed!
Building in poor condition. The clerks seemed to be confused. Gave us a room that was occupied. The buffet breakfast was non existent. The place was dirty overall.

Very disappointed and expecting high quality with the Ramada Inn name. No towels available, no wash clothes. We had to ask the desk personal to go find us some. Very embarrassing. Restroom behind the commode was dirty with hair and black smudges on the wall. Hot tube was broken and on a couples retreat we were really looking forward to relaxing in it.

The door to get in into the building was broke. The hallway was dirty. The room floor was terribly stained, there was hair in the bed, in the shower. Nothing was clean. Nothing.

DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY STEAL INCIDENTAL FEES AND MANAGER STACEY HUGHES HAS HISTORY OF RACIST REMARKS! LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS FOR YOURSELF! Visited this hotel for one evening. Paid using Hotels.com. Stacey Hughes (Mgr) took my card for incidentals but didn't mention she was actually going to run it for $100 dollar deposit (almost twice the cost of the room). After over a week, I called to see about getting the hold removed and was told that there were "stains on my sheets." Total lie. You can see from other reviews that I am not the only one that Stacey is scamming. Stacey also claimed to be the manager of the hotel, would not give me a corporate number (snidely told me to call back tomorrow and I can talk to her again), and would not give me the owning entities name. I called Ramada customer service and made a complaint (Ref#4718852 - via Edward) and was told there was "nothing that could be done." DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE! TRUST ME! The rooms are not worth it!

Good Morning Antwan, I can assure you Stacey or non of our Employees are not Raciest in any way. Yes we do require a $100.00 deposit just like any other hotel in the area. We do have on record where there is damages to the room that were made during your stay with us. So you were charged accordingly which was $80.00.Stacey was nice to let you check with not the full $100.00 deposit which is hotel policy due to you not having enough funds. The damages to the room exceed more than $80.00 and if you wish to pay those you can call the Manager Stacey Hughes and she would gladly help you. She will also gladly send you the pictures which were time stamped to you through you email. Thank you for your stay with us and have a wonderful day.

There was mold in the roof of the swimming area also uncovered wires by the pool(not sure if they were live or not) no towels by the pool. We stayed in a non smoking room and they had burn marks all over the place, carpet, blankets, and even the toilet seat. There was only ever one person at the hotel ever including cleaning services. We only stayed 2 nights but we never had anyone come clean our room, bring us fresh towels, or take trash out. The ice machine did not work either. Overall I do not recommend staying at this hotel ever

Do not stay here. It is filthy and run down. They charge an incidental charge of $100 that they won't refund. Why do they do this? I woulda not booked this had it been in refundable in the app. I did contact a manager and she said the sheets and towels were stained. Of course they were and I took pictures and sent to a number she provided via text. No response. Stealing somebody's money is criminal. I will talk to a lawyer.

Room had no towels. Employee's child took her mothers keys & opened my door and attempted to walk into my room. Same child was running up & down hall trying to open hotel doors & screaming to be let in. Same child was loud & obnoxious to other hotel guests & myself when we would enter the hotel doors. This is no place for this kind of undisciplined child.

This was by far the most terrible experience. Hotels app should be ashamed to stand behind such a terrible hotel. They ask for 100 dollar deposit when you arrive and say that the hotel app makes them. They do not give it back and have no intentions of giving it back. It’s run down and being run by drug addicts. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache

I wouldn’t stay again.
Booked a suite for my family. The room wasn’t the cleanest and there were strong odors in all of the hallways on the floors. There were all sorts of different stains (almost looked like melted wax) in several places on the carpets in a two of our rooms. There were no blankets or sheets for the pull out bed. There weren’t enough towels for our party. The pool was overly filled with chemicals and there weren’t enough lights to light up the pool room. The pool was warm and fun though. Also, no pool towels available so we had to use towels from the room (and then get more). The front desk staff were nice and friendly.

The Frontend clerk was great!! The room had stains on the sheets and wasn’t the cleanest but it was overall good for the few hours of sleep we needed while traveling to be with Family on Christmas

My experience was terrible. I got stuck in the elevator and it took over 30 minutes for the worker to get me out. The room was filthy. The carpet was dirty, the heating and cooling system did not work properly, and the room smelled.

This was one of the worst “hotels” I’ve ever stayed in. The check in process was awful, the lady was very rude and complained the whole time that we had booked online because it made her job harder? We then had to pay a $100 deposit, that isn’t mentioned anywhere while booking and the deposit has yet to be refunded. The room was disgusting, both comforters had stains on top and we found two roaches crawling around! The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, it wasn’t even usable. The pool room had mold on the ceiling and walls and there was wiring from the pool lights hanging in the pool. If we hadn’t have been checking in so late we would have left, I regret not eating the cost and going elsewhere. Hands down one of the worst experiences we’ve had while traveling.

Extremely Disappointed
The hotel staff were very pleasant and did their best to mitigate all the many problems. The T.V. didn't work (they replaced it), the phone (they replaced it), the bed side lamps, the available plugs (couldn't keep the plug in), The blower dryer didn't work, the coffee pot was there but no cups or anything to use with it. The shower flooded, The room is very very worn down, the side chair was very dirty and worn out. I could hear smoke detectors chirping in other rooms. I was put in a handicap room where their was no shower head, only a handheld head. The bed was comfortable, and that was about the only thing I can say about the room. For the Ramada brand it was extremely disappointing. I was not expecting a resort experience, nor was I expecting wish I stayed a motel 6 instead. I will be calling Ramada. Not sure how they decide what hotels they rate worthy of repairs and maintenance but this hotel was clearly not one of them.

Very disappointing
The room was full of stains. Carpet, bedding (which also had cigarette burns in it) lounge chain. The bathtub was filthy. The bathroom itself had 2 towels, no hand towels or washcloths, no toiletries of any kind including basic soap and Kleenex. The toilet paper roll was nearly empty. It’s like someone came in, made the bed, and left. And don’t bother talking to the night clerk. He was more concerned about hiding in a dark corner of the lobby with his phone than anything else.

Worst Hotel in Texarkana
This hotel is a rundown dump. The hallways smell like a toilet overflowed somewhere and nobody cleaned up the mess. Horrible hotel.
