"No dinner service because it was a weekend. Came down for breakfast around 7:30-8:00 and every table had dirty dishes on it, while staff were just hanging out at the front desk. I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. Worst service I had my entire 3 week trip to 3 countries."

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "What a view! We were in Room 19 at the top of the property and the view of the walled city was spectacular! The room was spacious and comfortable, and VERY quiet. Two things to consider—-we were 50 steps up from reception. This is not a room for those who can’t handle stairs. There is no elevator, so you are carrying your suitcase up. Also, parking is outside the pedestrian area, so your car will be about two blocks from the door. You can drive in and park next to the hotel to load your bags, and that same situation may be available if you check in early. Parking is free in the lots next to the pedestrian section, so that is a plus."
"Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation. "
