"My stay at the Paleis hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very comfortable, quiet, and privacy is respected by all. The situation of the hotel is excellent, as it allows you to explore The Hague's best food offerings, is close to museums and galleries, and public transport such as the tram in case you want to travel to the beach or other areas of the city."

"It was not clear at all that this is self-service check in. That's not such a problem in itself, but when combined with the price and the shabby location, it does not add up.
Great view from the window, cavernous room (almost too big), a small double bed, shower head was faulty, no email sent to explain how to check in (until 1 hour after my arrival). Disappointing to pay so much for such a basic place, and with no reception desk for when there's a problem."

"Perfect hotel to visit Den Haag.
Parking per night was 30 €. Preordered parking at Q-Park Malieveld which was 15 min aways from the hotel saved some money.
King size room 108 was spacious and great.
Ventilation can be lowered down, but not turned off."

De Lola Podshotel
8/10 Good
"de Lola is very new and clean. However, next time I would not book the breakfast which doesn't even include a hot drink. I also thought that the drinks offered were pricey for a hostel and there are no facilities to make your own hot drinks."
"This hostel is situated in a great place within minutes of Grote Markt and the other sights within The Hague.
The best bit of the hostel were the staff who were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. They have a nice little bar by reception and drinks were a good price.
Dorm beds were average and be prepared you may have to walk a short distance to use showers or a toilet. The showers themselves were clean and well maintained.
There is a kitchen available to cook in and a cinema room if you want to watch films etc…
Overall a very nice hostel."
