"the breakfast was overpriced $50 for a bagel eggs and 2 mini bowls of cereal was outrageous. the billing was an issue. 3 rooms were supposed to be charged on 1 card but no. have to call back to deal with this . and valet charges were too high 110$ with the expectation of TIPS ever single time we request or dropped car. rooms smaller than expected and so were the sheets.... itchy too!"

"Definitely not at all what i expected. It was more of a motel than a hotel. Walked in to our room and was greeted by a dead and alive cockroach so that made me angsty. The bathroom was nice with the lighting and counter space. The shower was super confusing and easy to flood since it’s kind of flush with the regular floor. Parking was a nightmare the second night as there weren’t enough spaces and people were double parked. Got a late checkout granted by front office (12pm) and the door was knocked on at 1115 by the cleaning crew who were also rude staring down me and my friends as we left the room at 1150am. Had just enough space to go around them since they didn’t seem to want to move their cart. Probably too busy trying to intimidate us out quicker. It was nice there was security at night as the place overall gave sketchy. Came for a festival and probably would’ve went somewhere else if other festival goers weren’t there. Wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers or groups of woman. Lots of single or groups of men just standing around staring."

"We stayed Memorial Day Weekend, and for some reason, the hotel chose to change all the door locks that Friday. It caused a huge disruption and we ended up needing to go back down to the front desk twice to try to get into our room. The front desk staff was not very friendly when it was busy, but at other times when it wasn’t busy, they were more friendly. The room is small but clean. The elevator is slow and there is basically only one."

"I'm not sure what all the griping is about with this property. If you are going for EDM events at Echostage, or Project Glow, the location is perfect. Yes, it is in a shady area, but just take Ubers. I did knock a star for the parking situation because it is so bad it deserves to be knocked a whole star. I'm not sure what they can do to improve it because the building sits on limited land, but, it isn't it. Thankfully, it's only $15 per night, if you can secure a spot! Overall, we had a great stay. Rooms were clean, elevator was fast, noise was low. Breakfast was just okay. There are better options nearby."

"First solo trip I took to DC and the stay was great. Staff were there to help with checking in and security was present at the entrance. Room was very clean and cleaning service was excellent. Some say the room was small, but for one person it was more than enough. Definitely recommend it to solo travelers, will be coming back in the future!"

"Good experience overall, as usual, but we were disappointed with the bar closing so early every night. Who closes a bar at 9:30p or 10p even? Regardless, the housekeeping service was top notch, and the breakfast at the restaurant was surpringly worth the price. For a good hotel in DC, the Hamilton is a great value for the money!"
