"Very filthy upon entering .. carpet dirty and smelly . Room was okay"

"Very clean and spacious room. Quick walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Parking on-site is tight, but manageable. Staff was very pleasant. I would stay again."

"Had a lot of fun in the casino and a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant. Front staff was not overly friendly at check-in. Rooms could use a little updating. Not sure why we didn’t get our room cleaned and fresh towels one day. Called housekeeping and they brought us fresh towels."

"During our day, nobody cleaned our room. I requested for baby crib which they placed it, but wasn’t made it when I asked them to send somebody to make the crate. They said you’ll have to do by yourself.."

"We came for a long weekend thinking this was a 3+ star level place. We were first given a room that when we entered, it smelled very bad and the smoke alarm/detector was covered with plastic and tape. No big deal, we opened the doors to let the room air out. My husband went to talk to the front desk about the alarm being covered. Staff offered a separate room, but I had started putting things away and didn't think it was necessary. Then we went to open the sofa bed and there were no sheets/blankets. The mattress was stained with something. My son attempted to take a shower and we discovered the shower was broken. I went to the front desk to let them know about the sofa bed and shower, and they offered the other room again. We accepted. The second room sofa bed also, did not have sheets. So we went to the front desk a third time. Staff offered to bring sheets/blankets up to us. We stayed the rest of our long weekend, finding random leftover toys/trash etc from what we can only guess was from previous guests. The bathroom cabinet was also damaged in the second room. While manageable, this place is definitely not worth 3 star money. I'd say 1-2 stars given its location to the Kona Nation club, that had a rock concert on Friday night. If they could get a better cleaning service and improve the condition of their rooms, this could be a 2-3 star."

"Room was very nice. However there was a wedding in the central outdoor courtyard with band that I felt like I was at a rock concert. It did end around 10pm although not what I expected for the cost of this room . While everyone deserves a special day, this hotel really should not be hosting these types of events if they want to have regular customers. It’s really an either/or. So make sure if you stay here you find out if there is a wedding or other outdoor event and request a room far away from it if noise into your room bothers you. "

"I wanted to reach out and share what an exceptional stay I had at your property. The breakfast was great, and I particularly enjoyed the herbed potatoes. The massage I received from Heather was amazing and truly the best I have ever had. I also appreciated the property's location; it feels very private and safe while remaining close to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants. Additionally, the fireplaces within the library and bar area are unique touches that you don’t often see. Thanks, Mark & Jackie"
