"Decent enough place. Slightly dated and creaky but in a characterful way and owners are clearly working hard to tidy the place up. Putting the breakfast waiter into smarter clothes would help as casual tops and shorts really don’t cut a professional image. Above all it was great to stay somewhere that hadn’t got the heating cranked up to crematorium levels and windows that can be opened properly which gave a comfortable nights sleep. "

Our cottage suite was oozing with charm, from the beautiful silk drapes, cozy bed coverings and linens to the floral upholstered chairs and make-up table. Breakfast was a real affair, with Helen cooking up full English breakfasts to-order daily. We had a fantastic time and whole-heartedly recomment this wonderful B&B."
