#Festival #action

Every year at #Bogor, #Indonesia during the Cap Go Meh festival the normally quiet road of Lawang Surya Kencana turns #festive with many of the local Chinese-Indonesian community compete in parading the best portable shrine or performing the lion or dragon dance at night with many lanterns illuminating the way.

Tourist who wants to experience the festivities is suggested to come early to avoid traffic and overcrowding, don't forget your umbrella too, tropical weather is a fickle one :)

I can never get enough eating Snake Fruit when I travel to Indonesia.
Snake fruit, more technically known as salak or salacca zalacca, is native to Indonesia but is now grown and produced around southeast Asia. The fruit grows on the salak palm tree, sprouting off the base of the palm in little clusters. The outside of the fruit is scaly like a snake and prickly like a cactus, but the inside is sweeter than honey, sour like a pineapple and incredibly juicy. Its flesh is slightly acidic, giving your tongue a citrus like tingle. Yummm...

Babakan Ciamis

If you're spending some time in Babakan Ciamis, Bandung City Hall Park and Jalan Cihampelas are top sights worth seeing.
