"Fabulous hotel in a quiet convenient part of Galle. Easy quick tuk tuk ride to fort and great restaurants. Beautiful spacious clean room with classy furnishings and super comfortable bed. Pool area is lovely to relax and unwind. Breakfast was fantastic and served just outside the room on the terrace. Staff really helpful. Totally recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel location in heart of Fort Galle excellent. Staff service, friendliness and willingness to accommodate excellent. Beautiful buildings well restored. Excellent breakfast. I assume they are not 5 star as only provide some of the little extras in room that you would normally expect from like properties eg tissues, body lotion etc but that didn’t bother us! Our bed was a little saggy but that is the only fault we could find. They even gave us a very late checkout at no cost when we offered to pay which was very much appreciated & totally not expected. Highly recommend."

"It's an old hotel. 50 yrs. So it's tired and needs a refurbish. Rooms are OK, but bathroom leaks water from the shower leaving puddles of water in the bathroom. Could smell urine in room 205 when using the shower so probably linked to the drainage system. Pool needs redone as several broken tiles and there were 3 people I saw who cut themselves including a member of staff and my daughter. Restaurant and bar is very good, great choice and food options are lovely. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Opposite a supermarket which is handy. So overall a really nice hotel, pretty basic but has great potential with a bit of investment. "
