"I gave a fairly scathing review last night at check in. Let me be kinder, but just as honest now. The check in process for us was awful. They had no onsite hotel reception desk or any staff present. It was about 10 PM on a Saturday night, but the check in was disorganized and tedious. First, we were to be sent a code. No code was received! Then I called the phone number listed on the front door of the hotel. A woman answered and seemed very unfamiliar with the situation or even with the property. I was repeatedly placed on hold so she could "look it up." She'd come back after 10 minutes of holding and ask me an insipid question like, "What is your name" (this after I'd already provided it to her 10 minutes earlier.) Long story short, after being put on hold for a total of 25 minutes we were given access to the hotel room. This morning we could see that the room was clean and acceptable. It had high ceilings that made the it feel larger. The "free breakfast" was very basic fresh fruit (oranges, apples and bananas), some corporately made pastry, prepackaged cold cereal, sugary junk. The room itself was pretty good. It could use a little updating but was functionally okay."
