"This was a perfect place for a stop before getting on the morning Bernina Express train. The location is as described, a couple of minutes from the train station and the host sent a video of how to get to the place from the train station which was very useful. It is also very close to shops, bakeries, eateries, etc. It is clean, with a decent kitchen for a day or two and nice &modern. I would highly recommend this place."

Ostello del Castello Tirano

Ostello del Castello Tirano

8/10 Good
"A charming, historic property with a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. I loved the aesthetics of the property overall. There was a courtyard with basketball and other balls available, perfect for my kids. The location is walkable to restaurants, and we were provided with a helpful map to navigate the city. The staff were welcoming. Breakfast on site was a lovely amenity (with a cost). While I appreciate the eco-friendly choice to air dry guest towels, it led them to smell strongly like mildew and feel too rough. There was one liquid soap to use in the shower. Without air conditioning, the room was uncomfortable for us in the summer heat though others might be more acclimatized. Overall, the experience was somewhere between a hostel and an inn."
