The best thing about the hotel is its location, only a stones throw from the 100E Airport bus stop in central Budapest. There is a downside to this, as the traffic noise is sometimes intrusive. Still, when you're so close to the best the capital can offer it's worth it. The in-room facilities are basic, but the staff are super helpful and the shower efficient. An alternative to the pod-coffee machine would have been good, but the Lisboa cafe is directly outside, just down a flight or two of stairs.

We had 2 nights in a deluxe room. It was very spacious and extremely quiet which was great as I’m a very light sleeper. Our room faced the courtyard so that would help. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of cooked options (only eggs) but we didn’t need to have a cooked breakfast. Otherwise it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The hotel opens out onto a nice square with a few bars and restaurants which was perfect for us after a long day of walking. 2 things bothered me- I asked reception to tell housekeeping not to change our bedding or to change our towels. However, the cleaning staff didn’t change the glasses by our bed and most definitely didn’t clean around the sink area in the bathroom. I didn’t chase for it to get done given we were only there one more night. Secondly-the city tax- this is more for Hotels.com- I couldn’t see any mention of this being payable upon departure. Normally it’s mentioned somewhere in the booking system. Luckily when we checked in I heard a departing guests being asked for payment so was made aware of it at that point. Otherwise, these were very small issues and we enjoyed our stay.

Very central Hotel. Helpful and kind stuff. I highly recommend it very close to everything there is to see. you can walk to the Danube river and the Basilica is right 2 minutes walking from the hotel

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel right next door to the Opera House. The rooms are all different. We had a huge corner room with windows facing the Opera House and windows facing the Main Street. Our friends had a Main Street facing room with a balcony. Since it was October 2, there was no air conditioning and it was in the high 70’s the day we stayed. It was far too warm in the rooms not to open the windows, but then noise level made it difficult for any of us to get some sleep. The beds were very hard. They did have a lovely breakfast in the cafe downstairs. It was very difficult to find! I would stay there again, but only during the months when air conditioning is available.
