This former palace is absolutely incredible! It's like walking back in time. The Superior Room is the most splendid hotel room I've ever stayed in. The staff and the owner were there to greet us and we enjoyed learning more about Tivoli and the property over a cocktail in the evening. Also, the underground swimming pool is such a treat on a hot Italian day. We will be back for sure! This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In addition, we loved Tivoli and would highly recommend staying two or three nights. It's much more quaint than Rome and the three main sites provide plenty to do. Plus there are some incredible restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

We recently have a great experience at this Hotel. It is an amazing spot with a fantastic, amicable and personalized service provided by Geovanni, Elisa and Filippo. The hotel has part of Tivoli’s history. We highly recommend this hotel. Since we arrived, we were well greeted until we left. The room, breakfast and pool service was great. Congratulations to the Residenze Gregoriane - Dimora d'Epoca Team. As promised, we will be back. Non parlo italiano ma mi fiderò della traduzione. Wonderful old villa with great service and lots of character . It's certainly not a suburban marriot type hotel, but a very authenticity preserved/restored villa from 500+ years ago. Too much character to mention (mosaics and old painted walls, romantic candles at night, outdoor patio and court yard...etc). While the private hotel pool is warm and romantic, the whirlpool is only Luke warm. The staff was exceptional. The outside is plain looking, within a row of midevil apartments and a little hard to find but the inside is cozy and fabulous. Such a lovely place!! I would totally recommend a stay here.

Lcated in the centre of the city,walking distant to most POI. 6 minutes walks to Villas d'este and the castle. The owner and the staff of the hotel are friendly. Amazing breakfast.

One of our best experiences in Italy
This is a small boutique hotel in the heart of the ancient city of Tivoli just a short walk form Villa d'Este, know as Tivoli Gardens (which I think is one of the most incredible visitor sites in Italy). If you are looking for a "Four Seasons" type hotel, then this is not for you. But if you want to stay in a 16th century Palazzo down among the narrow cobblestone streets that has been converted to hotel suites, in the center of an ancient medieval city perched on top of a mountain overlooking a river, then this is the place. The courtyard was done in mosaics from the 1500s and under the palazzo is a new "Roman Bath" pool and spa that the guests can book for their private use. We had not planned on using the Spa, but it rained one of the days we were there, and so we took advantage of the Spa. It turned out to be the best part of our stay. The Spa is all built of Marble and looks as if it were original, to the Palazzo, but it is all new and you can enjoy wine and music while you have the spa all to yourselves. I highly recommend it. In addition, because it is a small hotel, the staff is very attentive and kind. They take the time to help you enjoy the city and make you feel very welcome in Tivoli. The Suite was spacious with a nice sized bedroom, and a very large main room with a couch and dinning table and fireplace. It was one of our best experiences in Italy

Fabulous place to stay. Luxury boutique - the history and craftmanship of this 16th century villa is amazing. The service is wonderful - like having a private butler. The privacy pool amazing. Location perfect. 5 minute walk to Villa D'este. Loved Tivoli - so glad we didn't stay in Rome this time.

We traveled to Tivoli with our two kids. We arrived pretty late because of the chain reactions caused by one train delay.The couple running the property were very caring and tried to accommodate our needs. They offered different menu for breakfast to make kids happy. Very helpful and friendly. The services couldn't be better.

It was such an amazing stay with fantastic breakfast, its location, and truly historic building built in 16th century. If you want a modern hotel, of course this shouldn't be the option. But if you want to dive into time travel with Villa D'este in Tivoli, this hotel has to be the one for you. Staffs were very friendly, professional, and we felt like we were invited to a friend's home. Highly recommended!

This place was incredible. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in dozens of countries and I will say this was one of the most memorable and best experiences I’ve had with hotels.com. The caretaker and staff were so warm and friendly. The room was incredible. Clean, well decorated, historic. Just amazing. When I return to Rome again I will stay here. I really can’t say enough about this place. Everyone should have he chance to experience.

Stay was amazing. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Only downside is that the lovely baths were closed for a month for repairs, and we only were informed a few days before our visit. Want to stay there again!

Charming antique hotel near Villa d'Este
Charming small hotel run by a very friendly people. Tastefully decorated and restored, mixing old and quirky, it's almost like staying in homely museum. We could have stayed longer and plan to go back to explore more.

Palazzo d'epoca, dove ha soggiornato anche l'imperatore d'Austria. A due passi dalla Villa Gregoriana e dalla stazione ferroviaria. Ottima posizione per visitare Tivoli. Suite molto grandi, letto confortevole ed una colazione gustosissima, con ogni genere di dolci. Eccellente il servizio, dal check in, alla colazione, ai consigli per le visite, ai cenni storici.

ottima esperienza stravagante, come ottimo lo staff della location. per il tipo di location la stessa andrebbe curata di piu' nei dettagli artistici e di comfort. una spa e area fitness piu adeguata. segnalo carenza di area parcheggio per me fondamentale. in totale comunque ottimo fine settimana. saluti
