"A very nice hotel with all the basics. Comfortable beds and the bathrooms are updated and modern. Parking needs to be directlyin frontifthe hotel due to car thefts, but we did not feel unsafe even when returning from a wedding at 2am. Proximity to train station makes this hotel very convenient"

Everywhere you look you will be rewarded with thoughtful vignettes of artfully curated objects and exquisite, locally-made textiles, all inviting quiet contemplation. The verdant interior courtyard where breakfast is served under the shade of a pomegranate tree is a quiet sanctuary where one could easily while away hours. The rooms are beguilingly, impeccably clean, the hosts are delightful; and you’d do well to heed their restaurant and gelato recommendations. There’s robust wifi in the rooms, but if not for that, you’d not be mistaken for falling under the delusion that you’d entered another era the moment you step through the doors of this enchanting property."

" I had the most amazing stay at Dimora Donna Dora. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. It’s clear how much love and care has been poured into this place. The whole property is extremely clean and breakfast was wonderful! The views from the balcony of our room were absolutely breathtaking. Parking was very easy and stress free with a huge lot available right across the property. Our whole experience was exceptional from start to finish, we can’t wait to come back to San Martino and stay at Dimora Donna Dora again! Highly recommend to anyone "

"While the evening staff was very welcoming and the room large, everything else in this hotel was extremely disappointing. The shower was tiny and the water flow was hardly a drizzle. The room was basic and the furniture - old. Breakfast was basic compared to standard Italian hotels, and most tables in the restaurant were filthy with leftovers and crumbs from previous guests. I definitely do not recommend this place. "

"Positives: service was fast and friendly. Nicola was very helpful of where to visit in LUCERA and help with luggage. Breakfast pastries were fresh and coffee great. Negatives: the location is a10 minute car ride to town and nothing is around (except unfinished building). Landscaping needs to be cleaned up to give the look from the photos. Any noise in the building is noticeable in the room, even chairs moving and low voices. I picked because of the positives reviews, which I think are out of date."
