"Nice room and comfortable bed. A one person operation to help with parking and room keys. He left after a couple of hours later and with no front desk, there was no way to complain about the loud party on the deck below us that did not end until 2:30 am. Since the A/C didn’t work, we were forced to keep the windows open - thus only a few hours of sleep."

"Beautiful property, very stylish and brand new. The view is breathtaking. Very easy access to the city center which has excellent restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful. The only thing missing is a pool."

"A very nice hotel with all the basics. Comfortable beds and the bathrooms are updated and modern. Parking needs to be directlyin frontifthe hotel due to car thefts, but we did not feel unsafe even when returning from a wedding at 2am. Proximity to train station makes this hotel very convenient"

Staying there is to experience the rare pleasure of falling back in time into another epoch, unencumbered by the strains of modern life. This is a unique palazzo brimming with soul and lovingly restored by a local family over two decades with a view towards preservation. Everywhere you look you will be rewarded with thoughtful vignettes of artfully curated objects and exquisite, locally-made textiles, all inviting quiet contemplation. The verdant interior courtyard where breakfast is served under the shade of a pomegranate tree is a quiet sanctuary where one could easily while away hours. The rooms are beguilingly, impeccably clean, the hosts are delightful; and you’d do well to heed their restaurant and gelato recommendations. There’s robust wifi in the rooms, but if not for that, you’d not be mistaken for falling under the delusion that you’d entered another era the moment you step through the doors of this enchanting property."

"While the evening staff was very welcoming and the room large, everything else in this hotel was extremely disappointing. The shower was tiny and the water flow was hardly a drizzle. The room was basic and the furniture - old. Breakfast was basic compared to standard Italian hotels, and most tables in the restaurant were filthy with leftovers and crumbs from previous guests. I definitely do not recommend this place. "

"Positives: service was fast and friendly. Nicola was very helpful of where to visit in LUCERA and help with luggage. Breakfast pastries were fresh and coffee great. Negatives: the location is a10 minute car ride to town and nothing is around (except unfinished building). Landscaping needs to be cleaned up to give the look from the photos. Any noise in the building is noticeable in the room, even chairs moving and low voices. I picked because of the positives reviews, which I think are out of date."
