Mount Lofty House & Estate Adelaide Hills - Adults Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely stay at Mt Lofty House with excellent service throughout. We had a very warm reception from Christopher and you can really tell he has years of experience in hospitality. I joked to a friend that he reminded me a bit of Alfred from Batman 😄. On arrival we were offered a selection of welcome drinks, and my favourite was definitely the warm negroni-mulled wine. Such a cozy touch, especially during the colder weather. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised there was even a pillow menu. I ended up ordering a memory foam pillow which made the stay even more comfortable. I also think the 4:30pm property tour made the experience extra special. Big credit to Will who hosted the tour during our stay, you could really feel the pride and history behind the property. Lovely amenities too, especially the cozy library and billiard room. Breakfast was excellent and the view in the morning was absolutely beautiful. Overall, a very relaxing and memorable stay, would recommend."

"Was very over priced for the room, we got a room that sleeps 5. The couch had fallen apart, the chairs were broken the jet spa did not work, the loft balcony was unsafe, the heater was ineffective and we couldn't find the reception. We were reassured that the property will be upgraded at some stage. The person who checked us in was very lovely."

"It was difficult to work out where to check in, but the worker was amazing. The bathroom light flickered and the kettle had to use the TVs powerpoint, but apart from that it was a pretty good stay. Heaps of breakfast materials. Unsure how to wash them as couldnt fill up anything with water because bathroom sink was small. Im dairy free so couldnt have butter and I always bring my own milk. If youve no allergies you're good to go. Carparking good cause you parked in front of your unit. Guaranteed carpark therefore."
