"With my Mum having limited mobility the parking situation was a challenge but we managed. We also hadn’t realised the 2nd bedroom was two single beds (our fault for not checking closely enough) but again we managed. Otherwise it was a great place to stay with beautiful views from the little garden on the one evening we had that it didn’t rain. A wonderful place to stay overall and would highly recommend it."

"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. "Nice old hotel next to the river and park. Unfortunately for us it was a night of a very bad storm and the sash windows rattled like crazy followed by a bit of a breeze in the room but it was otherwise a very pleasant stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful, just a ten minute walk the town centre and 15 mins to the lake and free parking."
