"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Town with restaurants is close by within walking distance and the bus and train stops are very convenient! The open air onsen was lovely. Everything was comfortable and the staff was so kind! Was worried about the shared bathrooms but honestly that was so easy and also close enough to the rooms to not feel like a hassle at all. "

"I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. "
