"Breakfast was fine"

"I was there to attend a friend's wedding. I arrived at 3:30 pm after a 7 hour drive. Check in was listed as 4 pm. I knew I was a little early and my room may or may not ne ready. The lady that checked me in was nice. She told me my room wasnt ready. At 4:30 my room still wasn't ready. I spoke with a different lady this time and told her how concerned I was because the wedding was at 5:30 and I needed to change clothes, fix my hair and put on makeup. I told her I had a wedding to get ready for and she just looked at me and said "yep, you and everybody else". I know it wasnt her fault that my room wasnt ready but she was very snarky and rude. I dont expect to be treated rudely at any hotel but for the amount of money they charge, I surely did not expect her attitude. I didnt get into my room until 5 pm. I had to skip most of the makeup I had planned to put on, didn't have much time to freshen up, changed clothes and ran out of my room to get to the wedding. This really put a damper on the evening for me. While I do realize that everyone was looking at the bride & groom I was uncomfortable & self conscious about the wedding pictures. The front desk didn't really seem to care. Attitude was very disappointing. Not what I paid for or expected."

"This is the only place that we have stayed at on the island and we have no reason to go anywhere else! We have never had a problem. Check-in and out are always a breeze. All of the staff has always been so friendly and pleasant. They always go out of their way to help us any way they can and we so appreciate that with having a toddler. This is our favorite place!! "

"Mr. & Mrs. Bridges Location was excellent for beach and view! We were told we would get a beachfront view, but we were on the corner and had an obscured view. The rooms were mediocre. We were in room 110 and when we sat outside the to sit and just enjoy the sound of the waves and look out towards the ocean with the beautiful view, there was a dog that continuously barked on the second floor as well as our view of the trash from the restaurant adjacent to the pool, in the back stacked, empty boxes and trash, not pretty😕 I also suggest you trash all of your bicycles. They are the worst bicycles we have ever used anywhere. They are old broken, and the seats don’t even adjust. "

"Construction makes it difficult. It had a weird smell also that gave us a headache. Staff was nice. Parking was difficult. "
