Our stay was okay. The room was clean but a little outdated. It was quiet and the beds were comfy. However, some staff was friendly but about 30 minutes before checkin, someone called us about our reservation. They wanted to make sure that we knew about a $25 hold on our account when we check in. But then he continued on so much about damages, our dog, and what was expected of guests, it made me so paranoid to leave a water spot on the sink. When he asked about if I was traveling with a pet, I said yes, I mentioned it when I booked and read the pet rules. He then got awkward about it and kept saying I will be charged for damages. I again said I understood. It made staying there extremely uncomfortable. Like I said, we felt as if we had a water spot on the shower, we would be charged some sort of cleaning fee.

We have stayed here a few times over the years. The room we were in had been updated somewhat (flooring and bedding mostly). My only real complaint was the people above us. It sounded like a herd of buffalo running around. So, if you’re a light sleeper (or have young kids like I do) try to stay on an upper floor. They kept us up. Property is nice and clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We actually enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was both an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool unfortunately was not heated like we were told it was, but the hot tub was nice. The free breakfast unfortunately was just cereal, yogurt, and toast. But free is free. I am frustrated with the staff because when we got home, we noticed that my husband's orthopedic pillow had been left in our room. I called them and spoke with someone who said she would ask the housekeepers. This was 6 days ago. I have called twice since then and left voicemails. I just want someone to call me back.

The staff was very friendly. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice. The only issue I had was the way you had to park your vehicles. It's not designed for anyone with Handicaps.

This is a good one night stay. Looked and felt very old and used . The toilet was so close to the wall, you had to turn side ways to use it. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The bed was not bad, and clean. Not sure we will try this one the next time we come into town.

We were given a room at the far part of the property they have bought. The outside looks rough and although the room is titled "mountain view", there is none. Also, the microwave didn't work and they were spraying for carpenter bees so our room smelled like the spray they used. Kind of a crusty place.

The room with the king bed is spacious. The Tremont is close to dining and easy access to the Great Smoky National park.

Overall it was a decent experience. However, the price seems extreme given the dirty bathroom. It looked as if it had not been mopped in ages and there was dirt/garbage piled up in the corner.

The facility is very nice and clean. The toilet was a bit precarious and larger trash cans plus more outside options for trash would be great. I’ve stayed here before and will again.

This hotel is in need of serious work. We stayed in building #8. Gutters are falling off. Holes in soffit. Cobwebs in room. Furniture in poor condition. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. Location is great and grounds have tremendous potential. Just needs a ton of attention.

Very convenient to Smoky Mountain Park. Nice quiet town. Resort itself was a little run down in places but we saw workers apparently making improvements. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we enjoyed our stay and consider it a good value for the money.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and outgoing. The cabin was pretty clean for the most part but the couch pull out mattress and sheets on the pull out were bad and not clean. We wouldn’t let our son sleep on it. Overall a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay. I’m so glad they are working to update this beautiful resort. We stayed in building 4 and the chlorine smell was intense in our room. The chlorine was too strong in the hot tub and pool. Other than that it was charming and just what we needed for a quiet weekend getaway

This is a great place to stay, really clean and comfortable beds with a balcony, which was really nice. Breakfast was just right, cereal, toast and muffins with tea and coffee. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance with outside space and in a good location for the Great Smoky Mountains NP. It was really peaceful with an indoor pool and plenty of communal space. We were initially there for 1 night but extended for one more as we were enjoying it so much! We were mainly in the area for the Park but there are lots of other things to do, wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Old resort
We stayed 2 nights. It is an old resort that is in need of repairs but the rooms are decent for the price. They advertise an indoor pool and hot tub and that was my main reason for booking but the hot tub doesn’t even have water in it and has yellow caution tape around it. The pool was closed they said due to the heater not working. I would call and check before booking if that is important to you. The breakfast is cereal, toast muffins juice coffee and apples. The staff are nice and helpful. It was mostly empty while we were there.

Jenna was very rude. She put us in dirty rooms after “checking” to make sure they were clean.. We got there at 4 (check-in time) but couldn’t check in until 5:30.. We had no clean sheets towels or comforters and when i finally had enough of calling trying to get someone to answer I went down there at 1AM and she yelled at me. I got my refund back but they turned around and took my whole stay back out of my bank.. I wouldn’t waste my time here.

It was clean and quiet. Staff was awesome. Didn't like the shower. Since the room was for handicap the shower was a walk in. With no water pressure.
