"Staff was super friendly and helpful! The room had everything we needed, although the drain in our shower was pretty slow working so the bathroom floor would remain wet after using it. The staff was able to help arrange our taxi to the airport which we really appreciated! We also arrived early for check-in as we were driving in from a different location and they made sure our room was ready for us despite our early arrival. "Lovely hotel with great staff. Enjoyed having bar, restaurant, and small shop on site. Pool is clean. Breakfast was very good. 20-25 minute walk to Ladiko beach. Bus stop across the street with very limited service. Rental car or moped is a must if you want go out to restaurants or other beaches."

"Fantastic Family Stay at Afandou Mare Hotel! We had a fantastic stay at Afandou Mare Hotel as a family of seven. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, the rooms were regularly serviced, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The outdoor pool was beautifully clean and well maintained, and the beach is only around five minutes away. A special thank you to the hotel for letting us keep one room until 6pm on our departure day, as our flight wasn’t until later. Check-out was normally 11am, so this was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Our 9 year old boy also completely fell in love with the hotel cats! He was feeding them and looking after them every day, we may have to buy one now! 😂😂 The only downside was that we weren’t driving, so we relied on taxis to get around, which can become expensive. If you have a car, the location is perfect for exploring the island. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Afandou Mare Hotel for a relaxing family holiday."

"Absolutely fantastic holiday, Michelle from the pool bar was fantastic and really made our holiday. Staff were brilliant and always accommodating and willing to help. Food was incredible. Room was lovely, only thing mission is that there was no kettle in the room but nothing major. Shame we only went for a week. Brilliant evening entertainment, would recommend hiring a car if you’re planning on adventuring out of the resort. 10/10 we will be going again 👍"

"Extremely friendly staff, well maintained pool, quite out of city hotel, amazing homemade breakfast, answered all out questions related to city including bus travels. Room cleaning services. Downsides - No iron in room, toilet seat was shaky and was charged £20 for air conditioning. Please note if you take taxi from airport it would be around £40 one way. Travel with bus, there is no live tracking and it’s pretty accurate to the timetable given on bus stops."
