"We had a wonderful stay here as a group of 12 adults! The hotel staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered and the hotel was so lovely and cosy. The breakfast selection was excellent, and we enjoyed the extensive bar menu on multiple evenings. Many of our party loved the pool area too to relax and escape from the hot humidity. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler. "

"I arrived to Hai Phong when the sky was overcast. Many leaves were scattered on the ground, and there was a noticeable absence of traffic. It was my first time in the city. It somehow pulled me at my heart strings. Not because it reminded me of a scene from a movie, but this city is the last one in my trip to Vietnam this time. And boy oh boy, I went to so many cities & provinces near and far. Ly, the lady working at the reception desk, greeted me warmly and cheerfully. She was friendly, provided me with helpful information, and presented me with different choices for my travel itinerary. The owner I encountered on the initial day is extremely generous. The staff members are polite and friendly. I felt that they made an extra effort to ensure that my stay was unforgettable. The building is recently constructed, the equipment is state-of-the-art, and the decor exudes a contemporary vibe. I'll surely return. Actually, I have already made a reservation for a few days later."

"What a fantastic trip. The service from the staff from start to finish was exemplary. Pick up was a shared limousine van. Pure luxury for the 2.5-3 hour transfer. When we got to the main boat we were served lunch which was beautiful. A great selection for all tastes. Happy Hour was twice a day and the bar man Alex was extremely generous with his portions. My partner doesn’t eat seafood (choice not allergy) and they always provided an alternative without a problem. Tim also served us and he was very helpful, friendly and attentive. I would say they struck the balance perfectly. Emmanuel was our cruise director and a very charismatic man indeed. You’ll certainly enjoy his patter. Our cabin was absolutely amazing. We upgraded to the executive suite and was not disappointed. Although the standard cabins looked amazing too. Finally, what I really liked was there was probably only about 15 people on the boat. It seemed like they spread capacity across their fleet so it did not seem overcrowded. Now to mention the bay. Beautiful. What a vista to enjoy. Could not recommend Orchid Cruises highly enough.
