The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). Top Trentishoe Hotel Reviews

The Royal Hotel

The Royal Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Checked okay parking was close, the lift was out of order so walked to room not really a problem, but staff member sent me me on a 10min walk around the hotel with their instructions on how to get to the room, I later discovered a much quicker way using an alternative staircase, room was clean and well maintained. WiFi not the best but definitely useable. I cannot comment on food as I didn't eat in the hotel but there are some nice restaurants nearby."
