"Me and my Wife stayed for a couple of days, staff were amazing, food was lovely ( best breakfast weโve ever had ) and being able to relax in the hot tub in the evening really topped it off!"
"The Sawmills was an absolute gem of a find along the coast path. Friendly staff, great food and a great night's sleep. Highly recommended - would definitely stay again!"
"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, canโt wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country.
Thank you Mark and Desi ."
"We received a lovely warm welcome. Lovely hotel. Nice location close to the beach. Lovely comfortable rooms with small en suite bathroom. Big plus for me was the kettle with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Will definitely book again when coming to Devon."
"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level."
"Room of reasonable size, quiet and pleasant view. Pub light meal good and Sea Shanty singers a bonus.Good position to enjoy Lynmouth and convenient for the excellent Cliff Railway to see Lynton. enjoyed the Norther Walk and the Valley of Rocks.
Very friendly people - made to feel welcome, thank you."
"Very pleasing location with great view to Bristol Channel. Super friendly and helpful young couple is running it. If we would be in Lynton again, definetely we would consider to be there again!"
"This property was above and beyond what we expected, Lorraine and Adrian were the most amazing hosts. Breakfast was superb and our room was very comfortable."
"This is a traditional old style hotel. May not be ultra modern but full of charm and character and wonderful staff. Always a pleasure to stay. The restaurant is top notch for both breakfast and evening dinner."
"Our stay was excellent, the room was large and extremely clean. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection available and homemade jam. It was a central location with parking. Highly recommend. "

"We recently stayed at Croyde Bay, and our family room offered everything we needed, including a fridge, alongside all the usual essentials like an ironing board, hairdryer, and kettle. There was even an extra heater and a fan provided if needed. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable.
โThe facilities were perfect for our family. The swimming pool area was warm, clean, and well-maintained, complete with tidy changing rooms, sun loungers, a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. While we didn't use the gym, it looked amazing. Outside, the grounds and gardens were beautifully kept, and the outdoor play area, activities, and arcades kept the family thoroughly entertained. It was fantastic being so close to the beach; I just wish we had chosen a week with better weather!
โThe buffet breakfast offered everything you could possibly want, nicely cooked and presented, with particularly amazing poached eggs! Dinner was equally good, and I highly recommend the chorizo and honey pizza. Above all, every member of staff we interacted with was remarkably friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
โThe only drawback occurred on our final night when some teenagers were running through the corridors banging doors. While not ideal in general, it was made worse when it woke and frightened our four-year-old, leaving us struggling to get him back to sleep.
Despite that, it was a fantastic stay, and we are already looking at when we can return!"
"The room and shower room were really clean and felt modern. Comfortable bed. The manager was very pleasant and chatty whenever we saw her. The bar staff were very good but service for breakfast on the second morning was slow. Parking right outside was very convenient."
