"Hampton Inn Danville staff made our stay easy and pleasant. The front desk staff were responsive and the woman in charge of breakfast kept things stocked and was also responsive. It was close to Knoebels (15 min drive) and parking was free. The room was fine (had all the things a room needs) but felt dark and outdated. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough and the TV functioned fine. AC was strong and cold. The pool looked nice but we were too tired to jump in by the end of the day. It was good for the price.
The ice machine outside our room leaked into the carpet and soaked it in the hallway. The hotel is located down a side road past a gas station and pay to park trucker lot (out of sight/ off the beaten path). The outside landscaping, sign, and facade was rundown. This is not a new hotel but did what it was supposed to do for the price. Aside from the infrastructure the personnel and experience were good."
"Stayed here for one night passing through to DC on a roadtrip. Check-in was quick, staff was very friendly. Room was clean, well decorated and quiet. The shower pressure was the best I’ve ever experienced and even luxury ones! The only issue we had was you have to walk around if you have rolling luggage as there is no way to get over the grassy area without having to roll the bag through it or carry it. Not a big deal but would be nice if they put a cut through sidewalk for the people who have to park on the other row.
Would definitely stay here again."
"Great overnight stay! Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and we appreciated the amenities (especially the pool and free breakfast)."
"Friendly , quick check-in
Room clean, could use update in bathroom
And unplugged frig , since it started making load noises during the night
Breakfast was goid"
"The hotel was clean. Room was nice. There were conversations going on outside my room quite late. There was a water main break, so we were without water for quite a long time. In the morning on Saturday, there were no towels in the pool area. Electronic key didn’t work and then my key was shut off after one night but I was staying for two so I had to go back to the front desk another time. Breakfast was good."
