"We had a very nice stay at Crown Mansion. The room was large and comfortable with a 4 poster bed. The bathroom was good though no table to store our things. The hotel was very nice with a good location in Qualicum and a very good dinner restaurant. But no breakfast at all which we were not informed about. If you want breakfast you have to go out or shop. A big no for us. Our room had a view of the beach from a distance but overlooked a big roof top that made it not a very good view at all. Staff was nice and helpful. Quiet was a plus."

"This place is amazing. We chose a 1-bedroom suite, which provided ample space for us as a couple. The suite comes with a large bathroom and a separate toilet. The living room has a sitting area, a dining table, and an integrated kitchen, which is fully equipped with a huge fridge and a breakfast bar. The hotel is located right on the beach, which has a surprisingly large tidal difference and is inviting for local walks. Parksville itself is full of restaurants within walking distance, although the hotel dinner is also very nice. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They provided us with free bicycles for a two-hour tour and gave us lots of useful advice on things to do. We stayed 4 nights and could have happily stayed longer if we had the time."

"Room was clean and the staff was friendly. It's a fine place to spend the night. They provide an ok breakfast of cereal, muffins, yogurt and coffee in the morning. The price is good. My rating is lower because the TV in my room didn't work (they should at least get TVs capable of mirroring smart phones) and the pool wasn't set up. Those aren't deal breakers for me though and I'd consider staying again."
