"Room was clean, and views from the lodge patio were excellent, but, there was no mention in the booking that there were lots of stairs involved. It was advertised as an accessable property. The stairs to the second floor of the building was okay, but the 2 flights of stairs inside was a bit much. We entered on a level that had the bathroom and sink, then it was down stairs to the sitting level, and up stairs to the bedroom. As senoirs, these stairs was a major inconvienience. The garden view was a wall of trees. If you looked through them you could see part of the water. The bathroom was seperate from the sink, so you needed to open the door to wash your hands. The other thing, was the bed was very low. Basically a matress 6 inches off the floor. Admittedly, we did book last minute, so had to take what was available.
In general, it was a nice property, and maybe if we had booked earlier it may have been a better experience."
