"Two of us stayed one night to get the Bernina Express the next morning, very easy walk from the train station, check in staff were super helpful and gave us a map and showed us the sights. The room was a good size, very clean and ideally located very near the center of town. Please note that although this has a fridge/kitchen you are not allowed to cook anything due to local fire regulations, so if this is something you intend doing, bear this in mind. There are very many places to eat locally of varying prices so this was not a problem. I would recommend this place for its good staff and location."

"For check-in, Instructions were easy to follow and room very comfortable with great views overlooking into Switzerland. Nice coffee selection and comfortable community room where pastries are served for breakfast. Only moan is the church bell ringing every hour. Plenty of parking and within distance of plenty of hiking trails. Very friendly locals. Great place to stay if touring by bicycle and a bonus climb before arriving back!"

There are no staff on site; reception is a Self Check In arrangement. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The water is hot with good pressure in the shower. Would recommend"

Downside: no elevator in the legacy part of the hotel to reach the 2nd and 3rd floors. Makes luggage an issue and not helpful for those with mobility issues. One needs to reserve the newer section of the hotel if this is an issue. Great, comfortable bed - best night's sleep of the last two weeks on the road."
