"Came for one night, and ended up staying for three, because we never wanted to leave. This is a pure haven for anyone just wanting to relax, calm their nerves and take in the beautiful evening sky whilst hanging in a pool. With kind horses all around, and the sound of nature and wind in the trees. With only a few rooms, you never experience too much of a crowd, and only the best people seem to end up here. The owners are the sweetest people, and we’ll definitely end up coming here every...

"Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us"

Top Troarn Hotel Reviews

Séjours & Affaires Caen Le Clos Beaumois

8/10 Good

"Clean and easily got to, it's a bit a cheap and cheerful but it does do the job if you're just looking for somewhere to bed down for the night. I couldn't imagine staying there much longer than a few days - just because it's quite empty in the room."

Village Normandy Garden Pierre & Vacances

8/10 Good

"Accommodation very clean and well equipped, in need of some tlc paintwork very damaged ,beds very comfortable we all slept well . Food in the restaurant really good ,its a shame the bar area is open very limited times so if you wanted a drink or a coffee only available when restaurant open ,nothing else close without a good 15 to 20 min drive.Good pools but awful smell in the changing rooms ."

Sure Hotel by Best Western Caen Mémorial

8/10 Good

"A warm reception from the staff, good English which always makes me feel guilty! Clean, comfortable and well maintained with every staff member engaging, helpful and professional. Rooms were comfy, food although a limited choice, was well prepared and tasty. Breakfast though was a little light on choice, but was ok. It has a small gym and a heated pool. My one little criticism is if it's raining there is nowhere outside that is covered. What i mean is there are no overhanging shelters of any kind. So if you are a smoker then rain will mean you need an umbrella. Other than that, plenty of parking, good location close to the memorial museum and only 30 mins from the ferry"

Kyriad - Caen Centre

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was truly a hidden gem. We discovered it on Orbitz after a very disappointing experience at the Ibis Budget, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with fans and windows that opened, providing plenty of fresh air, which made a big difference. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. They also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit we went there twice. If you're visiting Caen and looking for a welcoming, comfortable place to stay, I would highly recommend this hotel."
