The cabin was beautiful, so comfortable, very warm and accommodated the party of four very easily. We walked everywhere and we needed a taxi. It picked us up from our front door. Also, the food at the cabin was delicious.

Good Stay Overall
The information kit from the hotel was great, they give you a lot of information about Tromso before and during your stay. I would have rated five star if the hotel lets me what I should expect for the traditional cabin, I would have changed to deluxe cabin if I knew this ahead.

Very friendly and approachable staff..definitely recommended . Only disadvantage was intercom or no phones in room if we needed to call the front desk.. Overall highly recommended property to stay. Very cozy and relaxing ambience

The check in was seamless Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were informative about the lodging and outside excursions. The cabins were clean perfect for our group. Affordable and close to the center of town if you wanted to hear to the city . Will definitely recommend this to everyone

Decent camp site. Room is clean and cozy.The environment is quiet and comfortable. I could see starry night and northern lights during my stays. The pillow and bedsheet are not very clean.

I like camping so my cabin was really nice and clean and private. I didn’t like the location of my cabin It was facing a big sports complex that had the flood lights on until 11pm that was my cabin there were other cabins in a better location So no way to see the northern lights

Perfect staff.
Excellent stay. The staff here are just lovely , really friendly and helpful . The chalets are spacious ( we had a traditional chalet ) and really comfortable. Lovely environment and the breakfasts are brilliant if you have them

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. We did really enjoy our stay in Tromso, but this lodge had a few issues. First, your expected to make up your own bed? Sheets were left on the bed for you to make up... & the beds / mattresses were dirty with dust and hairs all over. The bathroom also smelled terrible, I've stayed in plenty of cabins in rural areas and never had this issue. There was also a sofa plus a table with chairs, we felt the need to clean everything before using... Overall we loved the area and even got to see the lights right above our cabin, but the cleaning and cabin conditions needs to be better!

First, yes in the traditional cabins/ the bunk beds, the guests would have to put on the bed sheets themselves. This is to prevent muscle and joint injuries on our cleaners. However, the pillows and duvets should be made, and if that was not the case, we are sorry. We are sorry about the dust and hair in the mattress, and we will take that up with our cleaners. Location is perfect. We’ve seen the northern lights from our cabin. Not so far from the city. just approx. 15 mins to city center. Staff members was friendly and accomodating. Overall, Highly Recommended 👍👍👍

Lovely place surrounded by nature!
Lovely place surrounded by nature! Very good WiFi, Nice breakfast. One night we saw the Northern Lights fom the camp via camera. Really hard to find a dark spot the whole place it's really bright which is not an issue you just need to drive away find a clear sky and you can explore the northern lights or book your northern light trip on reception (Recommended!)

Check your cabin details
Amazing Cabin! Be very careful when booking, the economy cabins and possibly other ones DO NOT HAVE A TOILET/SHOWER. You get a key and you can go shower and use the toilet in the common space. It was actually pretty fun in the end, and we saw the Northern lights walking back from the bathroom one time, but just be aware.

Don't come in winter! No nor water for shower!
We took a whole day flight and drive in for late check in, it was already a mid night. we were so tired, hope to clean up quickly and have a rest, but there was no hot water totally! I have take off all my clothes in the bathroom, waiting for the hot water for 20 minutes! But still have no hot water, end up I decided to ask my husband to boil the water for shower, but the problem there is no pail, end up I using the dirty cleaning pail left at the entrance corner! It’s really a terrible experience!

I am very sorry to hear about your problems with the hot water – our water tanks are of 80l only, so the capacity is of course different compared hotels or other complex buildings. Some guests experience problems when taking long hot showers, while others don’t have any problems. Unfortunately, we were never informed about your issue with the hot water. We have a 24h phone service which you could’ve used, so that we could’ve solved the problem for you, even during the night. Still, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Fine but basic
Needs a car to reach as it's a long way from anywhere. In the depths if winter, it's a must. Place is basic and fine. Don't expect anything fancy as it's a camping site and caravan parking location and not a regular hotel. Good for overnight family stay.

Worth a try
It took me a look time to find the reception after they closed and found the key. The view is amazing, unfortunately the night we stayed was heavy snow so no Aurora can be seen, however the view outside was gorgeous. The room is big but the bed is too soft, the towel seems be using too many times, breakfast just not so good

This property is fantastic. The view of the creek from the cabin deck was gorgeous. I am so glad that we got this place. It is close to the city and close to nature, what could be better

This place is great! We stayed in the deluxe family cabin and thus have everything provided including towels and bed linen. Kitchen have all essentials for quick breakfast and pack lunches. The location is great as well, not too far from town but close enough and far away from th crowd.

The cabin we stayed in was amazing, with extra amenities we weren’t aware of; excellent staff who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Tromsø!

It was one of the best places I have lived in. It's a place to have friends or family along. Camping like feeling with a WiFi and insane facilities for bathrooms and kitchen. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Totally recommended
