Padang Bai is a quiet little town in East Bali. There didn't seem to be a lot going on there other than diving, which is what I was there for. But it was great! Just what I was looking for. For divers: good macro diving as well as some big stuff (white tip sharks, octopus, rays, eels etc.
This small bay just south of the main harbor provided a great, albeit small, beach called "white sand beach". Good snorkeling. The last warung stall had great ginger coffee!
