"This property is full of super cute charm. The rooms were minimal, but were still decorated nicely and had everything you needed.
The Lady Duff Lounge was a nice touch! We had dinner and drinks on Saturday night, that service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy! Breakfast there the next day was great! The pool was nice and clean and the sauna is a nice touch. Excited to come back!"
"This hotel is in a great location and was priced well so we took a chance. The front office looks nice but one front desk person seemed more like a robot repeating a script and didn’t answer my questions or listen when I said I only had 1 dog for our 2 night stay. The room itself was okay, but the property pictures make it seem nicer than it is. They tried to add some art and decor but it just looked cheap. The rooms are old motel style and the bathroom was kind of gross looking. We’re usually fine with that but what took me over the edge is being overcharged after telling the front desk about having only one dog. I’ve since emailed them without response about being overcharged. For location it’s great and there’s a restaurant onsite but they play loud music at night so make sure you go before that. $15 a night for amenities too which is okay for a gym, pool, hot breakfast, etc. Parking was okay and we didn’t have an issue finding a spot."
"We were told that our room was a luxury room and we could not figure out how you could call it that. Except for the two robes in the closet, the room was very average. One sink that had cracks in it a bathtub with tiles that had cracks and some hair in the tub that certainly was not ours when we first got there. I don’t think it was very well maintained, and it did smell like cigarette smoke, even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room. Not the best."
"We recently stayed at El Sendero Inn in Santa Fe and overall had a really good experience. The biggest highlight is definitely the location — you can easily walk to the Plaza, Canyon Road, Loretto Chapel, restaurants, shops, and so many of the historic attractions without needing to drive everywhere. For Santa Fe, that convenience is hard to beat.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and recently updated while still keeping some of the older Santa Fe charm. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and parking was easy compared to many downtown hotels. We also appreciated that it was much more affordable than some of the other nearby options while still being right in the heart of town."
"From the check in through check out, the staff extended great courtesy. Our room was spotless and well maintained. There were adequate electrical outlets. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, etc. The staff held a dinner happy hour and complimentary simple dinner that I found less tasty than restaurants in Santa Fe, but what should I expect. The hotel is located near the plaza. The weight room was clean and fairly well equipped. The hot tub added another benefit. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations."
