"We stayed for three nights during this time. Although we requested towels, they never arrived. Our room service was two hours late, which made us think they might have forgotten. I wouldn't return, as I'm unsure if this level of service is typical for Puerto Rico; other islands seem to offer better service. Perhaps at this price point, such service isn't expected, but I would assume it is. "

"We had an amazing getaway at the Condado Vanderbilt. I a so glad we chose this property! The room was better than expected - we were in the older building and did not have a water view. However, the room was in great shape, beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was much bigger than expected. I appreciated all the drawers and two closets- lots of space to unpack! The staff was outstanding! Every single staff person I interacted with was fantastic. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond. We really enjoyed all the amenities in the room. We also enjoyed the pool, gym, and restaurants. It was an easy Uber ride to Old San Juan - plus easy to walk to restaurants near by. Definetly recommend this hotel!"

"It was a perfect sleep for us. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 2:30 am. Went straight to sleep. We couldn't try the breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning. I will recommend this hotel to anyone arriving late or early in San Juan."

"The hotel is clean and most staff are polite and helpful. The young man who checked us in [around midnight] was pretty rude. Maybe a bad day. The biggest problem was our room had no hot water. We reported that the next morning and was told someone from maint. would look into it. He got us hot water in the bathroom sink, but not the shower. We showered for 2 days with cold water. When we asked for a new room we were told they were fully booked! Not true. Actually, we found they had no room with 2 beds. After we complained on the 3rd day, they finally "upgraded" us to a king and pull-out sofa with "no upcharge," their idea of making things right. In the middle of the 4th night, the desk called saying security needed to check the smoke detectors. A uniformed guy came in, removed and reinstalled the covers and left. No further explanation nor apology for interrupting our sleep. Not the best hotel experience, but other family members staying there had a much better stay. We had a great time in Puerto Rica, despite the hotel. "
